According to a recent report from Marca, Spanish giants Barcelona aren’t ruling out the possibility of selling Philippe Coutinho in the summer transfer window. They’ve reportedly sent out feelers to clubs who might be interested in buying him, as the 26 year old gears up for a possible move away from the Nou Camp just over a year after joining.
Manchester United and Chelsea are two clubs who are said to be interested in bringing the Brazilian back over to the Premier League, although given his connection to Liverpool, it doesn’t seem like it’d be particularly likely.
Coutinho started off quite well when he made the move over from Anfield, but as time has gone on, he’s failed to maintain any real consistency in the first team.
Whatever happens he’ll almost certainly end up at a high profile club, but perhaps the move to Barca wasn’t the best fit after all.
