Barcelona have submitted a big money proposal for Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Catalans have been looking at a number of keepers as they continue their search for Victor Valdes’ replacement, but they seem to have made the Slovenia international their number one target.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has suggested that Barcelona officials contacted chairman Massimo Moratti by phone to present a €23 million offer for the highly rated footballer.
The Nerazzurri chairman is currently considering the proposal, although he is believed to be holding out for €30 million.
The mere fact the two clubs are not too far apart at the moment is enough to suggest that Handanovic could easily end up at Camp Nou in the summer transfer window.
Since arriving at the club from Udinese last summer, Handanovic has done well to establish himself as one of Europe’s top goalkeepers, but it looks as though he will be leaving Giuseppe Meazza after just one season.
