Champions League holders Barcelona are considering a summer bid for Lyon defender Samuel Umtiti, Sport has suggested.
It is no secret that the Catalans plan to rejuvenate their back line and they have now set their sights on the les Gones full-back, who is also capable of operating at centre-back.
Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez and his associates attended the Lyon vs PSG game to see the talented footballer in action, with a summer bid for his services reportedly being mooted.
Despite his fragile age, the 22-year-old has already amassed 121 league appearances for les Gones, while also featuring in 7 Champions League games and 15 Europa League fixtures.
He has been earning rave reviews for his showings this season and many believe that Didier Deschamps should seriously consider including him into the France Euro 2016 squad.
Lyon will reportedly only consider offers over €15 million, which does not seem a lot of money for such a quality footballer.
