La Liga title holders Barcelona are said to be preparing a January transfer offer for Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur.
Corriere dello Sport claims the Catalans have been following the Uruguay international for quite a while now. As per reports, Barcelona are willing to test Juventus’ resolve during winter and are readying a €60 million offer.
Rodrigo Bentancur has enjoyed an extended spell in the first team this season, deputizing for injured duo of Sami Khedira and Emre Can. He made 12 Serie A appearances, picked up an assist and scored two goals, including one in a 3-0 win at Fiorentina last time out.
His flying form has forced Juventus to reach out to Boca Juniors and try to remove the clause that provides 50% of any future sale.
Juventus have no intention of parting ways with Bentancur at this point in campaign but are well aware that his price would only go up if he manages to maintain the high performance level until the end of the season.
