Barcelona prepared to sell Rakitic

According to a recent report from AS, Spanish giants Barcelona are willing to sell Ivan Rakitic prior to the summer transfer window closing. The belief is that French champions Paris Saint-Germain would be interested in taking him on, if indeed the Croatian international goes through with his departure.

Rakitic has been linked with a move away from the La Liga champions for a few months now, with Inter Milan being the primary club featured in all of the reports and rumours.

Now, though, with the Italian side being focused on a whole host of other transfers, the door has seemingly been flung open for PSG to pounce.

Of course, Paris Saint-Germain also have their own issues to worry about between now and the end of the transfer window, which could serve as the latest speed bump for Rakitic as he attempts to navigate his way out of Barcelona once and for all.
