Barcelona & Real Madrid want Havertz

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz is receiving interest from even more top European clubs, with both Real Madrid and Barcelona believed to be interested in the idea of bringing him on. Alas, the report suggests that neither is wiling to go ahead and stump up the cash necessary for the current deal that is on the table, with Leverkusen wanting at least £70 million in order to get the deal done.

Havertz has been a moving target for quite some time now, to the point where it almost seems obvious at this point that him leaving Leverkusen is nothing more than a formality.

Real and Barca would seemingly have bigger fish to fry when it comes to the January transfer window, so there’s every chance that a move for Kai will be put aside until we get around to next summer’s transfer window.
