Barcelona refuse to give up on Coutinho

Premier League side Liverpool showed a firm stance by refusing to sell Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona during the summer transfer window.

The Catalan media outlet Sport splashed a big headline on its cover today depicting Coutinho and claiming that Barcelona are getting ready to reactivate their pursuit of the Brazilian magician.

Coutinho is coming off from a highly successful weekend during which he assisted to Mo Salah with Liverpool’s opener at Leicester Palace, before smashing a precise free-kick shot into the top right corner.

The Brazilian once again proved to be invaluable for Liverpool which is why it is hard to believe that Liverpool will change their mind on the hot matter.

Sport suggests Barcelona will test Liverpool’s resolve with a newly-boosted bid worth €200 million in attempt to turn the Reds’ heads next summer.

Coutinho himself remains keen on making a move to Camp Nou, but Liverpool will not be changing their attitude. Not until the end of the season at least.
