Spanish giants Barcelona are planning a fresh assault on Fiorentina full-back Juan Manuel Cuadrado, reports Sport.
The Catalans have just had their transfer ban suspended by FIFA, and they are ready to resume their work on summer reinforcements.
According to Catalan daily Sport, Fiorentina star Juan Manuel Cuadrado is one of the first names on club’s hit-list.
With Dani Alves widely tipped to quit Camp Nou in the summer, the Colombian is seen as an excellent long-term replacement, especially since he can also play on the left and further up the pitch.
But, with the 25-year-old co-owned by Fiorentina and Udinese, it is believed it would take between €25m and 30m to secure his signature.
Having already missed out on two major trophies this season, Barcelona hope to revive their La Liga title hopes by winning the remaining four fixtures, but the Catalans are 6/1 shot to defend the league trophy.
