The 28-year-old right-back Aleix Vidal was heavily linked with a move out of Barcelona during the summer transfer market.
Former Sevilla star joined the Catalan giants in 2015 on the belief that he could become a long-term replacement for Dani Alves but failed to impress at Camp Nou and found himself largely out of favour at Barcelona.
Vidal is currently the third-choice right-back at Barcelona behind Sergi Roberto and Nelson Semedo but Barcelona appear unwilling to sell their player despite heavy interest coming from the Premier League and Serie A.
The host of English media have latched on the reports emerging from the Italian publications claiming that both Arsenal and Inter Milan have registered interest in the 18-year-old defender who can be successfully deployed at right wing.
Vidal’s tenure at Barcelona has also been marked with an injury that kept him out of the squad but if his seven appearances this season are anything to go by, Aleix Vidal is back in favour under Ernesto Valverde.
