According to Sport, Barcelona have stuck an £89 million price tag on Ousmane Dembele’s head despite reports that they hadn’t received any legitimate offers for him. Dembele’s future has been a cause for great debate with many believing that he’ll leave the Nou Camp, following a tenure that hasn’t gone exactly as they would’ve hoped.
He had a slight rise in form to kick off the new season but it still hasn’t stopped the many rumours linking him with a move away, and given his age, it seems like something that could be quite likely. He still has time to develop and mature at another club, and there’s always the possibility of Barca buying him once again somewhere down the road – kind of like the situation Paul Pogba currently finds himself in.
The general belief is that Dembele is being lined up for a summer move away, with the premise being that the club want to see his attitude improve if he is serious about staying.
