Barcelona set to sign Boateng

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Spanish giants Barcelona are set to complete the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng for a fee believed to b worth around £7 million. Boateng has only played four times for the club ever since his loan move from Sassuolo back in January, but even with that being the case, it appears as if Barca are more than willing to give him another chance. Boateng hasn’t always been viewed as a world class player by any stretch of the imagination, but he’s still a handy player to have on the books – especially if you need some power off of the bench.

Barca are expected to make a few major signings during the summer transfer window, most notably the potential signing of Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.

Before all of that chaos, though, it appears as if securing some more cover in the middle of the park is on the agenda.
