Catalan daily newspaper Sport claims that Barcelona are on the verge of signing Spanish striker Paco Alcacer from Valencia.
The Catalans have turned their attention to the Spain international after missing out on Kevin Gameiro and Luciano Vietto, and the transfer should be wrapped up in the coming days.
Namely, the player has informed Barcelona officials that he is ready to accept their offer, while the two clubs should soon find an agreement as well.
It is believed that Valencia would settle for a transfer fee in the region of €30 million, with the ball now in los Che’s court.
Paco Alcacer, 22, has scored 30 goals in 89 La Liga fixtures since returning from a loan spell at Getafe, while also bagging 5 goals for Spain in the Euro 2016 qualifying stages.
Barcelona expect the deal to be completed before the weekend’s clash with Real Betis, where they are 1/10 to claim maximum points.
