Catalan giants Barcelona are considering an option to sign the talented Ivory Coast midfielder parfait Guiagon, one of the biggest talents to emerge out of the African football recently.
A member of the Africa Sports’ side competing in the top flight of Ivory Coast football, the 16-year-old Parfait Guiagon has been making huge waves with his impressive performances of late.
Voted as the most promising player of Ligue 1, Guiagon gained plenty of attention from across the European continent.
The Ivory Coast Under-17 international was close to signing for AS Monaco during summer but is now sitting on the verge of joining La Liga heavyweights Barcelona.
Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo reports that Parfait Guiagon is currently on trial with the Catalan club where he already spent a couple of days training with Barcelona youth squad and Barca B.
The club chiefs are seriously thinking about offering him a deal to join Barcelona in January when this highly-promising midfielder would join the reserve side, hoping to make a break into the first team at Camp Nou in due time.
