Barcelona set to target Werner

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are set to make Timo Werner their number two target during the summer transfer window behind Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez. Barca have made no secret of the fact that they want to bring in at least one or two more attacking options during the next few months, especially with Luis Suarez seemingly being on his way out of the club – or, at the very least, out of the starting XI on a consistent basis.

Werner continues to be one of the hottest properties across European football and as we look ahead to the next few months, there is a very good chance he will be one of the most appealing players in the game.

Leipzig will do very well to keep hold of him, especially with the likes of Barca making it clear that they will be hanging around from now on.
