Barcelona starlet linked with Camp Nou exit

Catalan daily newspaper Sport claims that long-term future of Barcelona youngster Abel Ruiz is in doubt.

The 17-year-old has shown a great deal of potential playing for the club’s youth sides and he is already a member of the reserve team.

Ruiz also impressed while representing Spain at the Under-17 World Cup in India, bagging 6 goals in 7 appearances, catching the eye of some top clubs in the process.

The talented forward reportedly wants to remain at Camp Nou, but he hopes Barcelona officials will offer him a new and improved contract in the coming weeks.

Ruiz has made five league appearances for Barcelona B in Segunda Division, netting one goal in the process.
