Barcelona still interested in Willian

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are interested in the possibility of signing Chelsea star Willian. It was well known during the summer transfer window that the La Liga champions were interested in signing Willian, but they couldn’t get the deal over the finish line. Chelsea were insistent about keeping hold of the Brazilian, which makes sense, given that their transfer ban did not allow for them to even consider replacing him.

Now, though, as we look ahead to the future, Barca could be preparing to put in an offer that the club simply cannot refuse. It’s not like the Spanish giants don’t have the funds necessary to make a deal like this a reality, but on the opposite end of the spectrum, you also have to wonder from Willian’s perspective whether or not he’d be getting consistent time in the first team.
