Barcelona still want Stuani

According to a recent report from Marca, former Middlesbrough forward Cristhian Stuani is wanted by Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window. Stuani has been in phenomenal form for Girona in La Liga since joining the club, scoring 40 league goals in 65 appearances. The expectation is that he would cost them around £8 million, as they go in search of replacements for Luis Suarez who is potentially going to be exiting the club this summer. Barca had a decent season after winning the La Liga title once again, but their shortcomings in the Copa del Rey and Champions League left a lot to be desired for their fans. It seems as if they want to strengthen their squad to the point where they have more attacking options at their disposal, but to be perfectly honest, they may also want to look into the possibility of reinforcing their defensive options too. After all, just look at the Liverpool result.
