Barcelona striker admits he would join Real
Barcelona B striker Nolito has admitted he would sign for Real Madrid if Florentino Perez were to offer him a contract.
Unlike most other players groomed in famous La Masia, Nolito says he would have no problems making a switch to Real Madrid.
“If Florentino comes and gives me a nice offer and Barcelona do not want to renew my contract, I would go, because I am a professional,” Nolito said.
Nolito’s contract expires at the end of the season and since Barcelona are unlikely to offer him a new deal, the 24-year-old striker is prepared to leave in search for the first team football.
“I’ve always loved Barcelona and I always will, but I am realistic and above all I want to play. If Madrid bid for me, then why not.”
We are yet to see how Barca fans will react to the statement, but I just can’t see what possessed Nolito to talk about Real move, especially as there is absolutely no chance los Merengues will bid for him.

Del Neri: Buffon staying at Juve
Juventus coach Luigi Del Neri says he has no intention of selling Gianluigi Buffon, while adding that Bianconeri might not sign a new striker in January.
After Luigi Del Neri said Buffon would have to fight for his place when he returned from injury, the speculations started linking the keeper with a move away from the club, but Juventus boss rules out such a scenario.
“You can’t say anything about great champions without the risk of being misunderstood,” Del Neri said.
“People wanted to create controversy by suggesting I didn’t consider Buffon to be the best. I am not so crazy. Buffon has taught coaches how to train goalkeepers for the past 10 years.
“How could I doubt his status? I respect the condition of someone coming from a serious operation and the only doubts I will raise when he returns to training are about his fitness.
“As for the idea of selling Buffon, that’s just idiotic. He is a treasure for this club and we believe in him.”
Del Neri also added he didn’t want to disrupt the balance of the team by signing a new striker.
“We will not sign a new player just for the sake of making a buy, as maintaining the balance of the squad is the most important thing.”
The experienced tactician may have a point there as Juve are doing very well with the current striker force and the Bianconeri would be better off waiting until the summer to reinforce their attacking department.

Real and Barca keeping tabs on Segunda forward
Real Madrid and Barcelona have shown interest in Las Palmas forward Jonathan Viera, who is also tracked by Atletico Madrid and Osasuna.
The 21-year-old has been attracting attention with his performances in Spanish second tier for quite some time, with Real Madrid and Sevilla already trying to sign him last summer.
Nonetheless, los Merengues are now ready to make another bid for the Las Palmas forward and they believe the player’s agent, Pedro Bravo, who has excellent relationship with Real, will help them get their man.
Jonathan has a €6 million release clause inserted in his contract, which is definitely not a lot of money for a club like Real, although los Merengues could face a stiff competition from Barcelona, who are also keen.
Considering he is still just 21, Jonathan would first have to play for Castilla, Real’s B side, if he was to move to Santiago Bernabeu, and playing in the third division would definitely be a step down for the promising player, meaning that could prove to be an obstacle to the deal.
