Barcelona to go after Lukaku?

According to a recent report from Marca, Barcelona are considering a possible move to sign Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku.

It’s safe to assume that Romelu Lukaku’s second tenure at Chelsea Football Club is probably coming to an end. A lot of fans will continue to blame the Belgian but either way, it’s a sad end to what could well prove to be his final stint in English football.

He simply hasn’t been able to get back to grips with the Premier League with the majority of fans believing he’ll return to Inter Milan, which is where he was really able to revitalise his career following an underwhelming run with Manchester United.

Alas, it seems like a new contender may come into the mix in the form of Barcelona.

The Spanish giants had initially been planning to go after Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, and while that still appears to be the case, they’re getting ready in case either of those deals – or both – fall through.
