According to a recent report from AS, Spanish giants Barcelona have laid out a plan that will see them attempt to sign Neymar in 2020, either in the January transfer window or next summer’s transfer window. They were unable to get a deal over the finish line before the deadline which is on the verge of passing, meaning that the Brazilian forward will be staying with Paris Saint-Germain for the time being.
All parties involved know that it’s just a matter of in and not when he will end up returning to the Nou Camp, or, alternatively, he could wind up jumping ship to Real Madrid.
Either way it’s interesting to hear that Barca are already thinking about the future, as opposed to dwelling on the past.
Neymar is an incredibly capable striker, but the big question is this: how much are Barcelona willing to get behind him upon signing him to a deal?
