Barcelona are poised to test Juventus with bids for Gianluigi Buffon and David Trezeguet, despite both the agents of both player stating that they are unlikely to move.
Last summer, when Samuel Eto’o appeared to be set to leave Camp Nou, coach Pep Guardiola told technical secretary Txiki Begiristain that Trezeguet was his number one choice as a replacement.
Now the Catalan outfit are planning to make their interest concrete with a bid that could see Juve have to weigh up whether they can afford to hold on to their stars, Il Corriere dello Sport states.
