The La Liga giants Barcelona appear to be determined to land Liverpool first-team star and arguably the most valuable player in Jurgen Klopp’s team Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian playmaker has long been linked with a move to Camp Nou and despite signing a new deal with the Anfield club earlier this year Coutinho is once again on Barca agenda.
Having starred for Brazil in a 4-1 2018 World Cup qualifying win at Uruguay, Coutinho was heavily praised by his teammate and friend Neymar who is thought to be persuading Coutinho to join him in Spain.
And according to latest reports coming from the Spanish paper Don Balon, Barcelona have already prepared a deal hoping to reach a deal for the Liverpool star this summer.
The Catalans are reportedly willing to use Croatia international Ivan Rakitic as a counterweight in their efforts to convince Liverpool to sell.
Coutinho is happy in Liverpool and there is nothing to suggest he is pushing for Barcelona move, although a call from the Catalans could prove to be too tempting to resist, even more so if Liverpool fail to grab a Champions League place for next season.
