According to Marca, a deal which would see Willian Jose leave Real Sociedad for Barcelona outside any transfer window, would be a complicated business.
The forward apparently has a release clause in his contract set at €70 million, and though the price in negotiable to an extent, it still isn’t simple for Barcelona to complete. The price seems much too high for them, but they aren’t prepared to give the interest up just yet.
The La Liga champions are in a real spot of bother when it comes to their attacking ranks at the moment. Dembele’s injury, set to keep him out of action for the rest of the season, came on top of that of Luis Suarez, though the 33-year-old Uruguayan is scheduled to return before the term ends. Barcelona do have the option of signing a replacement for Dembele, as the rules state a signing can be made outside of transfer windows if the injured player is out for at least five months. Apart from that, the prospective signing could only come from another Spanish club.
So far, the Blaugrana have been linked with Alaves forward Lucas Perez, Zaragoza striker Luis Suarez and Real Betis forward Loren Moron.
