According to a recent report from AS, Barcelona club president Joseph Maria Bartomeu has not kickstarted negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over any kind of deal for Neymar. The belief is that they are confident Real Madrid aren’t interested in trying to bring him in anymore, meaning they will be able to take their good sweet time before making an effort to sign the Brazilian.
Neymar’s future has been uncertain for quite some time now, with the man himself indicating over the summer that he would be intrigued by the possibility of a return to the Nou Camp.
His first spell with the club didn’t exactly end perfectly but when you consider just how talented he is, we can’t imagine Barca fans will care too much if they do manage to bring him back.
Real, on the other hand, will undoubtedly be weighing up their options before making a formal decision on whether or not to continue pursuing him.
