Barcelona waiting on Depay

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are waiting on Memphis Depay to approve the final details of his contract.

They’re hoping to announce his signing sooner rather than later but right now, with the Netherlands in the midst of their Euro 2020 campaign, it may take a while before they can get anything signed, sealed and delivered.

Depay is known for being quite the character off the pitch but on it, there are very few who can hold a candle to his abilities.

It seems almost inevitable at this stage that he will opt to move to the Nou Camp and when he does, you’d have to think he will become one of their star men alongside Lionel Messi.

Of course, we can’t know that for sure, which is why the next few weeks and months are going to be critical for a club in the midst of a real rebuild.
