Barcelona want £107m for Coutinho

According to a recent report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are believed to have set an asking price of around £107 million for Philippe Coutinho. They paid £120 million in order to bring the Brazilian over from Anfield, but he hasn’t quite been able to light up the Nou Camp in the kind of way he would’ve wanted. Now, the Reds appear to be interested in the idea of bringing him back, despite the fact that a lot of supporters still aren’t happy about the way he treated them.

Coutinho certainly knows how things work at Anfield and would almost certainly be able to embed himself nicely back into the squad, but the fee that Barca are demanding is certainly quite high.

If Liverpool do stump up the cash necessary to bring him back, it would be one of the biggest risks that they’ve taken so far during their time under the tutelage of Jurgen Klopp.
