Bayern Munich midfielder Mitchell Weiser is one of the players Barcelona are looking at, according to Sport.
The Catalans are on the lookout for a right-sided defender after it became clear that Dani Alves will be leaving at the end of the season.
And while Torino full-back Matteo Darmian has long been on club’s wish list, there have been some new names added to the list of late.
Bayern midfielder Mitchell Weiser has emerged as a surprise target for the Catalans, who have been impressed with how the youngster adapted to playing as a right-sided full-back under Pep Guardiola.
And with the Bavarians not interested in extending the player’s contract that is due to expire in June, Barcelona may be ready to pounce.
The Catalans are also keen on their former player Hector Bellerin after he enjoyed a very successful season at the Emirates as well as Sevilla winger Aleix Vidal, who has been used as a right-back of late.
