Barcelona want Fabian Ruiz from Paris Saint-Germain

Barcelona are interested in signing Fabian Ruiz from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window, according to Sport. However, PSG head coach Luis Enrique is ready to block a potential transfer and wants Ruiz to be part of his team for the time being.

Ruiz has been on the books of PSG since the summer of 2022. The 27-year-old midfielder has scored one goal and given one assist in 11 Ligue 1 matches this season. The Spain international scored three goals and provided two assists in 27 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG last season.

Barcelona are third in the La Liga table at the moment with 30 points from 13 matches, four points behind leaders Girona. Meanwhile, PSG currently find themselves at the top of Ligue 1 table with 27 points from 12 matches, a point clear of Nice in second.
