Barcelona want Kane

According to Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane is considered to be Barcelona’s long term target as a replacement for Luis Suarez. Kane has spent the last few years establishing himself not only as the best striker in English football, but as one of the best strikers in the world. Alas, one of the biggest problems for Barca could be his £175 million release clause, which would easily make him one of the most expensive players in the history of the game.

Aside from Kane, Timo Werner and Kasper Dolberg are also considered to be potential options for the Spanish champions as the 31-year-old Suarez prepares for what will likely be his final few years in the first team at the Nou Camp.

A move to Spanish football for a major British forward is hardly a rarity, and it’d be interesting to see whether or not Kane would thrive in La Liga.
