Barcelona want Luiz

According to Mundo Deportivo, David Luiz is located towards the top of Barcelona’s wish list as they go in search of defensive reinforcements. The reigning La Liga champions have clearly been struggling in several of their games this season, and they’re lucky that so many teams around them – including Real Madrid – are slipping up.

Luiz has been in phenomenal form for Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri this season with 18 months left on his current deal, and elsewhere, Laurent Koscielny is also being pinpointed as a potential new member of the setup at the Nou Camp.

Barca never seem to do things in a conventional manner but in the end it likely won’t matter, because 95% of players who get the offer are almost guaranteed to take it.

If they don’t then they could forever be wondering ‘what if’, although with Luiz, it’d serve as the second time that he’s walked away from a good thing at Stamford Bridge.
