Barcelona want Olmo

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are interested in signing Dani Olmo from Dinamo Zagreb. The youngster has been turning heads for a while now over in Croatia, and at the age of 20, he still has plenty of room to grow. The Spanish giants would need to pay around £21.8 million in order to land their man, although you’d imagine that they would stump that offer up in order to ensure that they get their man.

Olmo’s youth career began at La Masia so this would serve as something of a homecoming for him, although he seems to have really built a life for himself with Zagreb.

Barca have been linked with every player under the sun in the lead up to the January transfer window but it certainly seems like a move for Olmo would be more realistic than most, given the connection the two parties share.

Barcelona currently sit at the top of La Liga with 24 points from their first 12 games of the campaign.
