Barcelona want Raheem Sterling after Sergio Aguero blow

Barcelona are determined to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City following the injury to Sergio Aguero, according to Deportes COPE, Aguero will be on the sidelines for the next three months due to heart problems, having made his debut for Barcelona only a few days ago because of injury issues. The Argentine striker joined the La Liga giants on a free transfer in the summer of 2021 following his departure from City.

Former Spanish and European champions Barcelona were already looking at signing Sterling in the January transfer window, and now with Aguero set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines, they are keen on bringing the England international to Camp Nou in January.

Sterling can play as a winger or as an attacking midfielder and is struggling for regular playing time at the moment. The former Liverpool star himself has said that he is open to leaving City if that means playing more regularly.
