Barcelona are interested in signing Amadou Onana from Everton in the summer of 2024, according to FootMercato journalist Santi Aouna on X. The reporter has claimed that Barcelona have held talks with Onana’s agents recently.
Spanish and European giants Barcelona, though, are not the only club who are keen on Onana. According to Aouna, former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners Manchester United are also keen on the midfielder and are following him closely.

Onana is one of the best young defensive midfielders in the Premier League. The 22-year-old Belgium international has been on the books of Everton since 2022 and has established himself as an important player in manager Sean Dyche’s team. The midfielder has made 46 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Onana has scored two goals and given two assists in those games. Everton are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 16 points from 17 matches.
