Barcelona want to sign PSG right-back Achraf Hakimi

Barcelona are interested in signing Achraf Hakimi from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that La Liga giants Barcelona are facing competition from Manchester United for the signature of the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan player.

Hakimi, who can also play as a right wing-back, joined PSG from Inter in the summer of 2021. The Morocco international made 28 starts and four substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for PSG last season, scoring four goals and providing six assists in the process. The right-back also made eight appearances in the UEFA Champions League for the French giants last season.

PSG won the Ligue 1 title last season and will be determined to win the UEFA Champions League this campaign. Barcelona are having financial problems at the moment, and Hakimi may not be too keen on a move to Camp Nou, especially as he is a former Real Madrid player.
