Barcelona want Willian

According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are set to go back in for Chelsea midfielder Willian throughout the course of the January transfer window. It’s been no secret that the two parties are very fond of one another and it’s been that way for months now, although given how well the Blues are faring both in Europe and domestically, we’d question whether or not Willian wants to leave right now.

Barcelona have already made contact with his representatives regarding the initial stages of making this move happen, with reports suggesting that the reigning La Liga champions had a £55 million bid rejected back in the summer.

Barca will likely do whatever it takes in order to land their man and we’ve seen them being ruthless before in the past, so it’ll be intriguing to note how much attention they give this transfer in the next few months in comparison to what they’re suggesting.
