Barcelona are interested in signing Matheus Nunes from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that former La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Barcelona are looking for cover in the middle of the park, and that Nunes is one of the players they are considering.
The 24-year-old Portuguese star has made 25 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Wanderers so far this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the process.
Wolves are 13th in the Premier League table at the moment with 34 points from 31 matches, as many as seven points above the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Barcelona currently find themselves at the top of the La Liga table at the moment with 73 points from 29 matches, as many as 11 points above second-placed and defending champions Real Madrid.
