QPR midfielder Joey Barton has spoken highly of French club Paris Saint-Germain, claiming he used to support the Paris club in Europe.

Barton moved to the west London club from Newcastle earlier this season, and although he feels that he has many things to accomplish at Loftus Road, the 29-year-old refused to rule out a move to the French capital.

“When I was younger, I supported Everton and every time PSG played Liverpool in the European Cup, I wanted them to win,” Barton told Canal +.

“However, I still have a lot of work to do here. But who knows what the future holds for me?”

The promoted QPR sit in 11th place in the Premier League table.
