La Liga starlets Marc Bartra and Aymeric Laporte are being linked with moves to English Premier League, according to Sport.
The rumour started as former Barcelona stopper Carles Puyol posted an Instagram photo with Ivan de la Pena, with the caption reading: “Having a coffee with my partner Ivan in Manchester.”
Namely, the former La Liga rivals now work as agents for an agency whose clients include Marc Bartra and Aymeric Laporte, and it is clear they were in Manchester on business.
With both Manchester clubs actively searching for defensive reinforcements, it is widely believed they are looking at the two La Liga centre-backs.
Marc Bartra has struggled for playing time at Camp Nou despite showing a great deal of potential and he continues to be linked with a summer exit.
Meanwhile, Laporte is adamant he is happy at Athletic Bilbao, but there are quite a few top clubs hoping to secure his signature.
