Reigning European champions Real Madrid have been pursuing attacking reinforcements for quite a while now.
Several high-profile names have been thrown into the mix over the past couple of month but a new one has now been added to the list. According to Diario AS, Los Blancos are exploring a possibility to sign the Sporting CP striker Bas Dost.
Dutch international is going through a rich vein of form at the moment. With 16 goals in 15 matches in all competitions Bas Dost is also Primeira Liga’s top scorer and Real Madrid are said to have identified him as an ideal short-term solution.
The likes of Mauro Icardi, Timo Werner and Harry Kane all remain the primary targets for the Spanish heavyweights and the 29-year-old Dutchman is being considered as a luxury substitute who would add an extra attacking edge in the second part of the season for Los Blancos.
