Bas Dost nears Sporting CP exit

Portuguese daily newspaper Record claims that Dutch striker Bas Dost is set to leave Sporting CP this summer.

The 28-year-old has been in high demand after another amazing Primeira Liga campaign, where he scored 27 goals in 30 league appearances.

But, after being one of the victims of the attack from Sporting CP fans, Dost is considering terminating his contract with the Lions, which would make him a free agent.

It is no secret that the former Netherlands international is a top target for AC Milan, but Record claims he also has suitors in France and Germany.

After scoring 61 goals in as many league appearances for Sporting CP, Dost should have no problems finding a new club if he decides to quit Estadio Jose Alvalade.
