La Gazzetta dello Sport has learned that Dynamo Kiev are set to sign Austrian defender Aleksandar Dragovic from FC Basel.
The Ukrainians have already made several high-profile signings this summer, adding the likes of Jeremain Lens, Dieumerci Mbokani, Younes Belhanda and Benoit Tremoulinas to their ranks.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Aleksandar Dragovic looks set to become the next summer signing, after Dynamo reportedly beat Inter to the player’s signature.
The same source claims FC Basel are set to accept an offer from Kiev, especially since they already have a replacement in place.
Namely, the Swiss giants are set to complete the capture of Bulgarian centre-back Ivan Ivanov from Partizan Belgrade.
Aleksandar Dragovic, 22, joined Basel from Austria Wien in January 2011 and has since made 76 league appearances for the club. He is also a regular member of the national team and has so far earned 21 Austria caps.
