Chicago Fire midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger admits that he has not yet made a decision on his future.
The 33-year-old signed a deal with the MLS side until December 2017 when he arrived on a free transfer from Manchester United, although both parties have the option to extend for another year.
Schweinsteiger has since made 24 league appearances for the club, scoring 3 goals, and is now set to take part in the play-offs.
However, the veteran midfielder says he will make a decision on his future when his current contract comes to an end.
“Never say never. My contract ends at the end of the year, then we will see how it goes,” Schweinsteiger said.
After finishing the regular season in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings, Chicago Fire can be backed at 12/1 to win the MLS Cup 2017.
