(GSM) – Michel Bastos has hinted that he could leave Olympique Lyon after revealing that he had always been interested in playing in Serie A.
The Brazil international, who is participating in his nation’s bid for another World Cup triumph, has performed impressively at the club level earning rave reviews.
The Brazilian, who moved to Europe with Lille in 2006 before making the switch to Lyon last summer, has been tipped to be on his way out of France.
Internazionale have been heavily linked with a swoop for the 26-year-old, with many of his Brazil team-mates already plying their trade at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Bastos remains under contract at Lyon and has previously stated that he remains happy at Stade Gerland, but it appears he would find it hard to ignore interest from Italy.
“Serie A is my dream since I was a boy,” Bastos told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“My heroes have played in Italy – Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho.”
