Bayer Leverkusen confirm deal for Paulinho

Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen have moved to confirm they have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian youngster Paulinho from Vasco da Gama.

The 17-year-old will join die Werkself on 15th July 2018, signing a five-year deal at Bay Arena.

Currently recovering from a broken arm, the talented forward has shown a great deal of potential playing for Vasco da Gama, producing 5 goals and 3 assists in 24 competitive outings.

Paulinho also starred for Brazil at the Under-17 World Cup in India and is predicted a bright future in the game.

Shortly after Atletico Madrid had a €14 million bid rejected for the youngster, Bayer Leverkusen had an offer in the region of €20 million accepted for the Brazilian starlet.
