Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of Finnish goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky from Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 28-year-old has joined on a free transfer, signing a five-year contract at Bay Arena, and he arrives as a replacement for wantaway shot-stopper Bernd Leno.
Hradecky also had offers from Borussia Dortmund and Benfica following an impressive campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt, but he eventually accepted the proposal from die Werkself.
The Finland international didn’t miss a single minute of the last Bundesliga campaign, while also helping his club lift the DFB Pokal trophy.
Hradecky, who also enjoyed spells with Esbjerg and Brondby, is widely expected to claim the number one spot at Bay Arena next season.
