According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Bayer Leverkusen are confident that they will be able to secure the signing of Leicester’s Demarai Gray.
The belief is that there may already be some kind of deal in place as the 24-year-old seemingly prepares to leave the King Power Stadium in favour of new beginnings in the Bundesliga.
Leicester are currently riding high in their quest for another top four finish and, potentially, another Premier League title. While Gray could easily play quite a significant role in that, Leverkusen could be offering the sort of money that would allow Brendan Rodgers to reinvest in a big way during the summer transfer window.
The Foxes are starting to establish themselves as one of the biggest clubs in English football once again, and while Gray may be integral in the eyes of some fans, there are far more important players within their squad.
