Spanish media outlet RAC1 claims that Bayern Munich are set to sign Barcelona youngster Mateu Morey.
The Bavarians reportedly decided to match the player’s €3 million release clause, leaving the Catalans powerless to prevent the talented defender from leaving.
The right-sided defender joined Barcelona’s La Masia academy two years ago from RCD Mallorca, and he has so far shown a great deal of potential.
Moreu impressed at the Under-17 European Championship held in Croatia last month, scoring three goals on the road to the title.
Bayern Munich have so far refused to confirm reports, but it would appear as though they are hot on the trail of the Spanish youngster.
