Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are fighting for all kinds of things these days. After last weekend’s 5-0 win for the Bavarian side, the difference between the clubs in exciting Bundesliga title race is just one point, but according to media, two clubs could be fighting for Hakim Ziyech as well.
Sport are reporting that both clubs are interested in Moroccan winger, currently exceling at Ajax. Two German giants, already eliminated from Champions League, will be free on Wednesday night to keep an eye on Ziyech, once he gets on the pitch to play in Champions League quarter-final against Juventus.
Ziyech’s marvelous season with 15 goals and 10 assists in Dutch Eredivisie was enough to make several clubs interested in him, including Chelsea, Roma, Arsenal and Everton. He also scored twice in Champions League, showing more consistency in his displays than in recent years. His contract runs through June 2021, but after this season Ajax might be ready to cash in on the player.
