Bayern chief drops fresh Goetze hint

Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge believes that Mario Goetze’s future does not entirely depend on Borussia Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke recently said that there was no way that Mario Goetze would ever join another German club, but Rummenigge doesn’t agree.

“Those kinds of comments are quite remarkable,” Rummenigge was quoted as saying by German newspaper Bild.

“There are three parties involved in a transfer. It remains to be seen whether the player agrees with him.”

“There’s no doubt about it that Mario is a fantastic player. He fully deserves all the recent praise. He not only plays very spectacular, but is also quite efficient.

“And we all know that Bayern have a preference for players who represent Germany at international level…”
