French daily newspaper L’Equipe has suggested that Bayern Munich and Manchester City are the latest sides to have joined the chase for FC Porto star Yacine Brahimi.
The Algerian footballer has been in stunning form ever since he joined the Dragons from Granada and there is a chance he will be leaving Estadio do Dragao for a top European club at the end of the season.
It is no secret that Paris Saint-Germain are keen on his services, but L’Equipe understands that Bayern Munich and Manchester City are keeping close tabs as well.
The Bavarians coach Pep Guardiola is in the market for attacking reinforcements and he has reportedly been impressed with the 25-year-old midfielder.
The Spanish coach will have another opportunity to take a closer look at Yacine Brahimi when Bayern host FC Porto in the return leg of the Champions League quarter-final, where the Bavarians are 19/20 to qualify for the semis.
